In parallel to the work of the UIA Council the five Directors of the Work Programme “Architecture
for a Sustainable Future (AfaSF)” have build up an online library called "SUSTAINABLE by DESIGN 2050" which will be presented and launched during the UIA World Congress in Tokyo, taking place on 26th - 28th of September 2011 in the Tokyo International Forum.
The Online-Exhibition and Database will be launched on the 25th of September 2011 and will provide a compilation of the most interesting and innovative projects in architecture and urbanism as well as more than 50 short films. The aim is to build up this global project- and film-database as a platform for an international knowledge exchange about chances and strategies of a responsible architectural approach within the architectural community throughout the world.
BGP is represented with four future-orientated projects: Eawag Forum Chriesbach, Elbarkaden Hafen-City, Residential Buildings Fehlmann and Sprinter Building Masdar City.
