Living in Zurich is becoming increasingly expensive. Many residents are being forced out of old buildings in need of renovation, which are either being renovated or replaced by expensive new buildings. Businesses, shops, restaurants and lively neighbourhoods are disappearing. The loss of affordable living space is getting worse and worse!
On the occasion of zawonet's 10th anniversary and under the annual motto ‘5 levers for affordable housing’, experts will discuss concrete ways to counteract the current development in a targeted manner on the basis of these five central topics - land price, property developers, housing standards, dealing with the existing stock and utilisation density.
