On November 26, Project Manager Felix Messerschmidt guided our BGP team through the HPT building on Hönggerberg. Completed in 1967, the building designed by Albert Heinrich Steiner features striking exposed concrete cubes housing some of Zurich's most beautiful staircases, with work and laboratory areas spanning between them. The renovation project aimed to preserve the characteristic "Steiner skeleton" while meeting modern requirements for safety, fire protection, accessibility, and laboratory facilities.
