With our project «muotmacher», we achieved 3rd place in the project competition for the renovation and extension of the Ibach school complex in Schwyz. The jury commends our careful, resource-conscious approach to the existing buildings, as well as the «Miteinanderband» («togetherness band»), which forms the spatial backbone linking the complex internally and with the surrounding neighbourhood, creating a convincing meeting zone with a high quality of stay. The jury was further convinced by the clear functional organisation of the Muota schoolhouse, our calm architectural approach, and the balanced relationship between quality and cost-efficiency.
