2010 Mention - Fehlmann Areal
The international Prime Property Award is bestowed on innovative and sustainable real estate invest-ments that 'distinguish themselves equally through ecological, social, and economic performance'.
With this in mind, the Prime Property Award honours European real estate investments that, through far-sighted investment policies, visibly promote the quality of the location and are characterised through environmentally friendly architectural planning. The jury considers projects which involve sustainable real estate investment or refurbishment, and which demonstrate special qualities or achievements in the following aspects:
benefits for the urban environment, ecologically sustainable architectural planning, and a high degree of economic sustainability.
143 Practices from 19 countries applied to enter the competition.Fehlmann areal was honoured together with 13 other projects. The awards ceremony took place as part of a forum at the EXPO REAL in Munich in October 2010.
