From January 7 to 18, 2010, the special broadcast covering Swissbau ran on the news blog from the magazine Hochparterre Schweiz. During this time, numerous reports on the trade fair were published — five of them in video form. During Swissbau, from January 12 to 16, 2010, Hochparterre Schweiz set up its production studio within the special exhibit 'Global Building'. The editorial staff worked in the midst of the vast media wall and reported continually on the Global Building exhibit and Swissbau.
Bob Gysin of BGP Architects, Maria Lezzi (Director of the Federal Office for Spatial Development), Hansjürg Leibundgut (Prof. ETH Zurich), and Hans Jörg Luchsinger (initiator of the special exhibit Global Building) were invited to discussions on the subject of sustainable construction. The interviews by Köbi Gantenbein, editor-in-chief of Hochparterre, were recorded on video and broadcast on Hochparterre Schweiz.
