SLTBR Daylight Symposium

Chronobiology is a fairly young field of research, located at the interface of medicine, biology, psychology and psychiatry. The topic of the 3-day symposium was daylight, which is vital to human health and influences many processes.

As humans' exposure to daylight largely depends on the nature of their built environment, both at work and at home, as well as on their lifestyle, establishing contact with architects and lighting designers was a priority, in order to foster awareness of the issue and discuss possible improvements. Tanja Scholze of BGP took part in the round table discussion, along with staff of Arup Engineering, Zumtobel and other companies.
