Selection of Monographs in slipcase
Six Contributions on Sustainable Building brings together selected monographs on work by the archi-tects Bob Gysin + Partner BGP, which examine six architectural solutions and demonstrate the variety and consistency in BGP's oeuvre. The buildings concerned are reviewed in articles by guest authors, and each monograph is illustrated with a comprehensive selection of photographs and plans.
Briefs that differ greatly in terms of context and use have been met with specific responses that grasp the peculiar qualities of the genius loci and reflect them in the finished building. In combination with their various emphases in respect of the context, aesthetic, spatial experience and lighting strategy, these projects illustrate the practice's tireless engagement with architectural issues and its integrated approach to every design on all levels of sustainability.
