2008 Nomination - Second Round - Forum Chriesbach
The international Prime Property Award is bestowed on innovative and sustainable real estate investments that 'distinguish themselves equally through ecological, social, and economic performance'.
With this in mind, the Prime Property Award honours European real estate investments that, through far-sighted investment policies, visibly promote the quality of the location and are characterised through environmentally friendly architectural planning. The jury considers projects which involve sustainable real estate investment or refurbishment, and which demonstrate special qualities or achievements in the following aspects:
benefits for the urban environment, ecologically sustainable architectural planning, and a high degree of economic sustainability.
90 Practices from 18 countries applied to enter the competition. In April 2008, Forum Chriesbach was nominated for the second round. The awards ceremony took place as part of a forum at the EXPO REAL in Munich in October 2008.
