2008 Winner - Forum Chriesbach
The Gebäudetechnik (Building Services Technology) Award is given for buildings that demonstrate outstanding energy management. The award is intended to focus attention on the capabilities of the building services sector and to make the subject accessible to a broad public.
The Forum Chriesbach received the award for the way in which architecture and building services have been integrated to produce a convincing comprehensive solution that achieves an outstanding energy balance. A building must have been in operation for at least 24 months at the time of being entered for the award. Data on its energy efficiency must have been recorded for a period of at least 12 months.
The award was presented on 5th November 2008 at the ProKlima symposium in Baden (CH).
